Seriously. He is sick, abnormal, and evil. What decent person, when confronted with 1.2 million cases and 70,000 deaths would congratulate himself? The GOP helped and facilitated a monster when the GOP Senators decided to bail him out by not impeaching him.

What is excruciating to witness is he is supported after an infinite number of lies, attacks, caustic leadership, blaming others, corrupting the government to be bent to his will, breaking the constitutional law of funding, and grandiose self flattery of being a genius in so many fields. Many Americans look the other way, so now we have this monster leading our country.

I am dumbfounded. Many of us live by these values: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal courage; but some people find it acceptable that it does not apply to Trump. I don't get it. I will never understand it. He has no compassion or empathy. My disgust knows no boundaries.

MAJ Ken Landgren - it's been done since 1801, and William Marbury. If the preceding party blocked your party's nominees, and then packed the courts with their cronies, many of whom were not qualified, it would be natural to rectify that later. We need more courts anyway.

Capt Gregory Prickett - I still shake my head to the fact that the director of the NSA and DHS have absolutely no experience. It is absolutlely horrific that the two directors who are in charge of protecting the country from all national threats are incompetent. DHS is chartered to provide leadership to all federal agencies in the planning and mitigation. Trump appointed Pence as the Task Force leader. What transpired was the blind leading the blind. We should have used the National Response Framework to organize relief efforts, but was created was an ad hoc approach to the pandemic. I am absolutely confident that the director of DHS was tremendously relieved he was off the hook. I will use an analogy. Trump and his administration started to plan in the middle of the battle.

I'm distrustful of rote partisanship in any form... regardless of which party it's associated with. There are public figures whom, if run against the President, secured the nomination... that I'd prefer to vote for. However, as that is next thing to impossible... I'm simply faced with the fact that I will not, under any circumstances, vote Democrat in the upcoming election. Trump has his successes and failures. No, I do not consider the man a great "statesman"; he's no great "defender" of ethical or moral values. Frankly, I fear the constant pressure he's under is beginning to chip away at a few of his most defensible qualities. However, there's NO ONE on the Democrat side whom, in my estimation, offers anything better... and possibly far worse. In my opinion, all the DNC is offering are varying levels of progressive socialism, abandonment of traditional values, and increased government control of the population. It also doesn't help that they clearly seem willing to run which ever long-toothed potentate who's "turn" it is at bat... even when opposed by a significant portion of their base. If some people have lost confidence in the CIC for his handling of this crisis... I'm not sure these same people would've embraced a 90-day complete "lock down" had any leader proposed it when it made any sense to do so. If they've lost faith in him due to temper tantrums, ramblings, etc... all that confirms for me is that they took little time to study who they voted for during the last election. For myself, the next election; not unlike the previous one, is about one thing... preventing the furtherance of the Progressive platform. That will give the GOP four more years to get their act together and come up with someone who genuinely combines the best attributes of statesman, diplomat, and economist. My personal preference is a "Mattis/Crenshaw" ticket, but I think I may have to settle for a "Cruze/???" option.

Funny isn’t it? I mean Biden.. Look up MBNA credit card company and Biden. Even Democrats are holding their noses over Biden, one feminist said she believes Read but is voting for Biden anyway. David Axlerod said Biden belongs in a candidate protection program. Some one else said Biden has been wrong on every foreign Policy decision he has voiced. Now he can’t even put a sentence together and his pod casts are completely lacking in any level of competence. I was not going to vote for Hillary. She enabled her husband in serial sexual abuse, lied about Benghazi and the servers and processors she used was a clear violation of State Department security. What a joke! Any one clipping coupons? https://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2019/05/13/gates_stands_by_statement_that_biden_has_been_wrong_on_nearly_every_major_foreign_policy_question.html

LTC David Brown - Those that think Trump is corrupt haven’t really looked at Biden. Seems son Hunter always got lucrative positions with places Biden was involved. . Oh well, nothing to see here. Biden plagiarized multiple times. Biden lied about the Truck drive involved in an accident in which Biden’s wife and son were killed . Now we have Reade who is discounted by the left, of never mind. https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2019/11/biden-bankruptcy-president/

Donald Trump is an attacker of ethical or moral values. His legal team effectively argued that he used quid pro quo with Ukraine and withheld funds to get what he wanted (his “foreign policy” objectives involving the Bidens,) but that he had authority to do so because he is President.
Anyone who still believes the White House’s insistence there was a need to investigate the Bidens needs to now ask themselves whatever happened with that investigation? Why hasn’t AG Barr worked his “magic” and brought charges against either Joe or Hunter Biden?

It was all fabricated BS to cover for the illegal act committed by the President, and only one Republican had the intestinal fortitude and ethics to vote the right way.
All due respect, Sir, four more years of lawlessness in D.C. will irreparably damage our nation. I used to be a Republican, and I am telling you President Donald Trump personifies every reason I left the party, to the 10th degree.
I used to thing the George W. Bush Administration’s bungling of the Iraq War WMD justification, the post-invasion policies in Iraq and Afghanistan, along with their grossly mismanaged and mostly corrupt reconstruction programs had taken the Republican Party as low as it could go, but along came the Trump Administration and its billionaire-backed, private sector monetization of our government operations and I now understand Bush was just minor league in comparison. For goodness sake, they are monetizing driving up the costs of the distribution of PPP and other medical and medicinal supplies by government during one of the deadliest pandemics this nation has ever experienced. Do you not see that happening?

SFC Herve Abrams - You make compelling arguments; If you're looking for an impassioned defense of President's Trump's character from me... I'm going to have to disappoint. However, I don't see much "difference" between how he handled the Ukrainian affair, and how FDR, Eisenhower, or even Lincoln handled many similar instances. I'd love to believe the office of President was above "thuggery"... but the older I become, the more convinced I am that these are the rules of that "game". I do believe Donald Trump is personally committed to a free market, strong national sovereignty, and individual liberty-or at the very least, must stick to that playbook to remain in office. By comparison, I believe the Democratic Party is committed to some form of socialism, an international government, and limits on personal liberty in the interest of a "collective" responsibility... all of which I fear would lead to a worse world than the one we currently inhabit.
