People suck. Why would someone do something like this and this is not the first time headstones or monuments have been vandalized.

took awhile to drill holes granite somebody knows who those cowards are that attack in the dark

The losers that did this couldn't carry his kit. This guy goes into what he is almost certain will be a suicide mission to try to save a downed crew. He is a pure example of selfless service. He could have easily stayed in the chopper he was in and no one would have thought anything of it. People that vandalize this don't deserve a court room and jail time, they deserve a public beating.
