6 Classic War Movies That Deserve A 21st-Century Reboot

I would truly love to tell Hollywood........STOP WITH THE REBOOTS!!! Some movies are classics for a reason and should never be touched. Ever.

Or maybe we could forge out on creating new classics. Maybe a contemporary star studded cast doing the longest day ala the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Perhaps some of the non SEAL related operations in Afghanistan could be a great film. A montage of different firebases and those slug matches fought a Platoon at a time in 2007-2009 in RC South and RC East.

I would definitely enjoy a War Games remake especially considering how our technological abilities have boomed since the movie came out. I think it'd make a great techno thriller.

M.A.S.H. I would be nervous about. Despite the series ending the same month and year I was born, it was a big part of my childhood growing up. Aside from my fear that people today couldn't do it any justice, I also fear that today's society will take a much more serious tone with it and sanitize what is essentially supposed to a comedy.
