Just like the real ones. Once they start to slide slip in a turn they loose lift. Sad for that guy. It looked amazing.

google 'gimli glider' and watch an outstanding side-slip (in fact, nearly flying sideways) that saved a 767 that had ran out of fuel, but was going too fast to land in the only available place. Bled a ton of speed and altitude to eventually land safely. Pretty amazing.

Well, easy come, easy go, I suppose, I'm kind of reminded of Howard Hughes flying the spruce goose float plane, that behemoth he built, that one got a couple of feet off the water, and that was it, just to prove a point, so, that being said , as least that guy in the video actually got his to really fly, what amazes me is why he didn't try to insure it first, possibly, you know? Oh well....try, try, again....

Capt Seid Waddell It is a little funny. The commentator with his accent, then just silence then the delayed reaction scream. I mean being that it was not an aircraft with a crew on board it is funny.
