Unfortunately, the concept of 'socialism' you presented here feels over-simplified and unreliable. You call out socialism as a problem, then corruption as a problem, when socialism isn't the source of corruption here. You think socialism = venezuela/bolivia, but not socialism = denmark, because Denmark is one of the most successful countries in the world in terms of integrating capitalism and socialism. (Democratic Socialism, or Social Democrats)
You haven't acknowledged that any of Venezuela's situation is because of economic warfare. Is that a purposeful omission? Are you aware that the US routinely promotes/supports coups anytime a LATAM country swings too far towards 'socialism'? Or do you really believe that the people of LATAM dislike equality of opportunity?
Very few people are trying to get rid of capitalism as you know it.
Repeat: Very few people are trying to get rid of capitalism as you know it.
People are trying to improve capitalism by either making it more fair, or correcting in a different way. Go start a company and you will see how our system is set up to absorb the losses of big business. That's not even proper capitalism - you are supposed to win or fail by your responsibility.
Yes, democratic socialism holds the idea that SOME things shouldn't be commodities, which is why basic healthcare is NOT a commodity in the healthiest nations. But nobody is trying to end your way of life or end capitalism, or whatever other extreme thing gets commonly conflated with people who are just being basic humanists.

There is literally a court case in Nevada right now where Republican lawyers are trying to toss military absentee ballots and you’re flogging the other side disenfranchising servicemembers?

You've got Democratic loyalists, Trump loyalists, Rino loyalists. For some if it isn't there way it's the extreme high way.

Well coming from a younger generations input most but not all in my generation an under want to be rid of a system they see doesn't work for them. My generation sees the need of more social programs. We started to graduate college or high school as the 08 recession hit we all graduated college an saw the pandemic hit with almost economic collapse some will feel like they can't get ahead or make ends meat an are desperate. Others will look at the success of the nordic countries who aren't 100% socialist. They infact if anything socio capitalist. They have a less regulated economy than us. They however have a sales tax an everyone pays about 20%-30% of there income. I've been advocate for free state trade school an community college. Get a trade or two year degree an enter the work place you don't like it well go to university for two years or less an get a BA or BS. You can change medicare an Medicaid requirements from net to gross income after taxes it's more realistic. We do need climate change an I've said nuclear is the only option. New nuclear cores are built an the size of a tractor trailer you put it underground an when the reactor runs out of urinam you change it out. It's not as risky as Chernobyl.

The great failure of those flogging the Nordic system is the inability to understand that you can’t just embiggen a thing and it’ll still work. The most populous of the Nordic countries is roughly the size of Pennsylvania if I remember. And while this is a somewhat delicate topic, you have millennia of cultural homogenity and a shared identity of being a nation. That’s a huge factor.

MSG Stan Hutchison I was just sharing that alot of my generation think or those under us I'm not quite like them all. I don't blame the economy or the government on my personal life or choices. However my parents raised me differently.

SFC Thomas Foreman Denmark has a population of about 7 million not very big. A model they have can work for maybe that population size but I always say a system that Denmark has could run better on a state level then across the country as a whole. I also shared my opinion on how most millennials probably feel. Most factors the typical millennial faces I do not. My parents raised me to not blame my failures issues or choices on them the government or economy but on myself.
