I am sure the FBI already knows what was said. We can read it when the indictments eventually come out.

So where are the records of all the past Presidents who had talked with the Russians and other heads of states? Simply, what they talk about could be CLASSIFIED information. The Democrats are nothing more than a bunch of whining hypocrites who still can't get over the thought that Killery lost. And their hatred for President Trump is beyond pathetic.

MSgt (Join to see) I find it very interesting how people resort to name calling and childish behavior when people point out inaccuracies with Trump!
And I find it equally pathetic when anyone DOES “dare” mention Trump, they are instantly labeled as an instigator or worse!
It is sad when we aren’t even allowed to speak our mind, without fear of reprisals or retaliation from others who do not share Trump’s view.

A fair point. We still record that information and archive it. It would be PRESIDENT EYES ONLY, but would become valuable for future presidents, as they are our Chief Diplomats and when we change command and communications from one nominal HoS should be available to the oncoming replacement, even if not available to the People themselves.

"Good, bad or indifferent, shouldn't there be SOME record of the conversations between Heads of States?"

While acting in an official capacity? Those conversations belong to the People, not the President themselves.

Tom Arnold actually talks about this during his standup. He & Arnold Schwarzenegger are very good friends (dating back to True Lies). While serving as Governor, all calls to the Governor's Office were a matter of Public record and subject to FOIA requests (which happened). This resulted in a bit of bad press for nominally "private conversations" between two friends (one a comedian and the other a Public Figure, who was also an actor).

If these types of conversation are Public (Head of State to CA to a Private Citizen), then why shouldn't two Heads of State? This assumes matters of National Security or other protected (as per Public Law enacted by Congress or allowed by EO in accordance with Public Law) communication are not present on either side.
