I was interested to learn that Antifa Activist John Earle Sullivan who posed as Trump supporter during the January 6, 2021 assault has been arrested in Utah for his role in the assault on the Capitol.
[Update] the main point is that at least one anti-Trump individual was involved in urging people to assault the Capitol. It seems reasonable that his anti-Trump rhetoric would have motivated like-minded people to rush into the building and discredit the pro-Trump crowd.]

Prosecutors says he was the Capitol riot leading a chant: “it’s time for a revolution.” Video shows him say: “we about to burn this shit down...we got to rip Trump out of office”
His arrest came after he was caught on video instigating violence on Capitol Hill and admitting that he posed as a Trump supporter during the demonstration on January 6.
“I’m gonna wear a Trump hat, I’m gonna wear a Trump hat,” Sullivan said. “I bought one today, I was wearing a Trump hat at the last rally during the day time.”
Resurfaced videos — filmed by Sullivan himself — show that he was an active participant in clashes at the U.S. Capitol. The far-left activist even broke a window during the protest and admits it’s not the first time he’s posed as someone else."

First, OAN?!? That "network" wouldn't know unbiased reporting if it owed them money.
Second, according to the BBC, while Sullivan claims to be a BLM activist, he rejected claims of being affiliated with ANTIFA.
As I have stated before, do any of you honestly think that if they had ANYONE in their custody that claimed to even be loosely affiliated with ANTIFA that the networks wouldn't be all over this? Even the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, the groups that some of you conditionally support, stated that ANTIFA had NOTHING to do with the riots of January 6th.

LTC Stephen F. I'm not debating on whether or not that he got arrested. That is not up for debate and I'm glad that he did. What I'm debating is the source you cited, one that is legendarily biased, as a credible source. At least the BBC can claim that they have been in reporting the news FOR DECADES and has far more credibility that OAN could ever purport to have

He is actually not associated with Antifa or BLM. There are multiple posts on Twitter denouncing such and showing his association with the Proud Boys and other groups.
Whoever he is, he got arrested as he deserved.

LTC Stephen F. - correct, as I have stated on other threads. Being favorably disposed towards Antifa and BLM does not make one a member of either. I'm favorably disposed towards the American Legion and AMVETS, but I'm not a member of either one.
You don't get to take his position as a founder of Insurgence USA and morph that into what it is not.
