MSG (Join to see) - Trump did too little too late and then just let it go. The trump administration had no vaccination plan which was discovered yesterday by the new administration. So the residual effect from trump will be ongoing. Biden will be on the hook for it because he is in the seat now. We Americans understand he is cleaning trumps mess and he has to own that. All Biden can do now is damage control from the trump administration. Unfortunately, trumps ineptness has cost us dearly.

There was no vaccine available anywhere until less than a month ago and even then, the first available supplies were low. That means the vast majority of the deaths did not result from a mismanagement of distributing the vaccine.

The Biden team may claim there was no vaccination plan, but States have been receiving the vaccine this month and they kept Fauci on. Something had to be in place.

While some Americans may think it is Trump's mess, others do not.
Trump spent almost the last year of his Presidency with a rapid spreading virus that no one had ever seen before with no vaccines available.
Biden is starting his Presidency with a vaccine available and already being distributed.

MSG (Join to see) - The vaccine roll-out has been nothing short of a disaster. Once again trump screwed the pooch. While Biden is not starting from scratch, the vaccine plan left by the trump was scanty at best. I will retract my previous statement and say trump left behind a substandard plan if you could even call it that. I can say with confidence over 81 million people believe its trumps mess and 74 million do not. I was listening to Dr. Fauci who said the Biden admin will be building off the trump admins plan.

I attached an article that details many of the challenges in the vaccine rollout. This has many reasons which include it being a new drug and problems getting adequate supplies from the manufacturers.

As for the number 81 million people, there were that many that voted against Trump. Many of them were Republicans and Independents that didn't like him personally or had other issues with him or his admin. There is no indications all or many of them thought he could have produced and distributed a vaccine that was non-existent.
These numbers showed up by splitting votes, voting against Trump but for a Republican Senator or Congressman.
On the other hand, there were 74 million Republicans, Independents, and Democrats who thought he wasn't responsible for all the deaths.

"The delays in ordering and distribution have many causes, including uncertainty about vaccine supply and the status of second doses as well as the hesitancy of some people to get the shots. Also at issue are the logistical hurdles of performing immunizations in long-term-care facilities and the ultracold storage requirements and batch size of the product developed by Pfizer and German company BioNTech. That vaccine, one of two authorized for emergency use in the United States, comes in a minimum order of 975 doses. Once vials are opened, doses must be used within six hours.
Perversely, limited supply is sometimes the obstacle to faster distribution, health officials say, because there is reluctance to set up vaccination sites and mobilize beleaguered medical workers only to perform a meager number of inoculations"

Biden is no more responsible for the continued fall out from Trump's ineptness than Trump was responsible for the continued fall out from Obama's economic policies.

MSG (Join to see) - You are almost correct. The deaths are now the fault of the former president, not the current president.

No, Trump isn't President. He has no control of anything that happened since noon yesterday.
Biden assumed the Presidency and in that position, he is responsible for everything.

When you seek command, regardless of what level, you also assume responsibility.
That is a basic leadership fact.
If Trump was responsible for every death that occurred in every State throughout his Presidency, then Biden also is responsible for every death during his.
The assertion of if the President of the USA is directly responsible for every death due to covid-19 doesn't change simply because a different political party takes office. They are or they aren't.

So it isn't an issue unless 400,000 die?
