Good morning Col Burroughs and Posse. The snow has stopped but it is very cold and it clearly isn't going anywhere for a while. It finished up with icy rain on top so things are pretty treacherous outside. Think I will do PT inside this morning. I don't want to have to "fix me"
Fixing things. Counselors get that a lot: fix my relationship, fix my "------------------ problem" (weight, depression, life, alcohol, drugs) but fixing takes work and patience and time. There are no real "quick fixes" that are real. Most at best are Band-Aids or coverups or temporary. If you want something to stay repaired do it right and invest the time and energy.

Lt Col Charlie Brown - Great message today, sorry for the late response Charlie - running behind today...

“Fixing things in some cases can be easy based on your talents and experience and then there are times it takes a team of people to fix something.” The key is to fix the problem at hand and not place blame on something else or someone. Fix your thinking and you will most likely fix the issue. Fixing things in a leadership position requires change and change creates conflict. No how to manage and fix the problem by your eyes on the actual problem, not everything and everyone around it. ‘If you do not fix your eyes on the target and aim ‘for it’ you will never hit it.’ May you always have a positive outlook and attitude toward fixing things, no matter how difficult they may seem; may your mind, body, and soul be opened to grace, goodness, peace, forgiveness, and a continued bountiful life of purpose; and keep your family safe, secure, happy, and healthy. You can’t always fix everything by yourself or every mistake, that would be a mistake.” — COL (Ret) Mikel Burroughs

I expect you are thankful that the LORD repaired the breach between fallen mankind and God by the atonement of Jesus designated Christ. The foundation of the Rock of Christ is the only sure foundation. I expect that you respect your neighbors including those who disagree with you. I hope you try to find common ground with those who disagree with you while standing on your faith in the LORD. I pray that we each seek peace with those who disagree with us. HE calls us to love our enemies. ‘“If you love those who love you, what benefit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. … But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful. [Luke 6:32, 35-36 ESV] my sister-in-Christ Lt Col Charlie Brown.

LORD YOU know who is focused on blaming, hatred, and vengeance. I pray that YOU open the eyes of so-called leaders who are closeminded and focused on their own goals in the mistaken belief that they are wiser. Hopefully many will fall on their knees and repent from their evil focus. The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the LORD. Far too many have logs in their own eyes which blind them to love, peace and compassion. 'Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.' [Matthew 7:3-4 ESV]
I pray for a significant increase of peace and compassion in families, in neighborhoods, and nations – USA, Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Israel, Egypt, India, Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. I pray that YOU change the focus from blaming to finding solutions to complex problems from family level to government level, dear LORD.
I pray that each one of YOUR adopted sons and daughters who reads this prayer is wise enough to focus on love, compassion and making peace where we can and where YOU guide us. I pray for endurance for each one of us as we attempt to make peace with those who oppose us and YOU. ‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. [Matthew 5: 9-12 ESV]
I pray that you and your family members sleep well Monday night and will awake refreshed and healthy on Tuesday morning.
By the power and authority of the Name above all names, Jesus the Christ.

CPT Carolyn Andrews exactly. Then leadership became extremely complacent because we were the World Super Power and did not believe these acquisitions were the start of any kind of threat. The capitalists only saw profit but in 2021 we are close to the doghouse.
