Certain vaccines have been found to cause reactions and I am awaiting the single shot vaccine.

The one thing that I was told upon receiving the first and second shot, that if you had an allergic reaction to the shot's that it was definitely a hospitalization, and that's why they made you wait 30 minutes before leaving especially if you had any allergies that required an eppi pen.

I got both at our VA and our wait time was 15 minutes after the shots. I was in and out both times within 25 then 20 minutes. I did not see, or hear of anyone having an allergic reaction though I've read where some folks elsewhere have.

I got the first shot a couple weeks ago & have had a headache ever since. I'm scheduled for the 2nd shot this coming Saturday.

PO2 David Dunlap - I got the 2nd shot this past Saturday and unlike what I've read, I have had NO adverse reactions. I will say that the local pain was worse than a Yellow Fever or other shots I've received, including Gamma Globulin. Today, there is no pain though.
It's not why I took the shot, but from what I gather, the shot record (a CDC card) may likely be required to board commercial flights, cruise ships and access to other areas. I think that's insane however.
