Ingenuity's 2nd Mars flight! See first video & pics

We are just about at the Noon hour here on the East Coast, and I bring you the good news that Ingenuity has completed its 2nd Flight successfully... Basically it is a walk don't run approach in that the commands were transmitted last night to take off and climb to a staggering 16.5 feet (LOL!) and move sideways some 2 meters or 6.5 feet, then hover and make turns before heading back to the center of the airfield to land...

NASA's Perseverance rover watched all of today's aerial action from about 210 feet (64 m) away, just as it did on Monday. Imagery captured by the six-wheeled robot is expected to start coming down to Earth at 9:21 a.m. EDT (1321 GMT),

Little by little as Mission Control becomes more confident with Ingenuity's flight capability, they will command it to fly further and perhaps higher in the Martian atmosphere.

More to follow, I am sure... As the telemetry works to transmit the data to our Earth stations, there will probably be more videos of this 2nd flight...
