I can't access the content you posted but I'll respond to the title. If you think people leave Christianity, then it shows you don't understand it at all. No one chooses to be a Christian. God chooses who He wants for reasons unknown to any of us. People like you and SSgt Addison R. who claim the Bible isn't moral do so by holding it up against your own moral standard that you yourselves create. That's incredibly convenient. Simply deciding for yourself what is moral and what is immoral and telling others they are wrong for not agreeing with you is the highest level of hypocrisy. But that's the state most people in our society are in these days. Greg, you and I have been down this road numerous times and I know you can't answer the question but perhaps Allison can, can you tell me why I should believe what you believe and not the Bible? What authority do you have, or do you point to, in order to believe what you believe. Right now I believe the Bible because it claims to be the Word of God and if that's true, it makes sense to pay attention to it regardless of whether or not I like it. So why should I (or anyone) adopt your beliefs?
