Just a quick update, I'me headed to Norfolk because my son is returning from deployment. I won't be bringing a computer so I won't be on here for a week or so.

My son also returned aboard the H.W. Bush. Wish I could have been there to welcome him home but I figured his wife had dibs kn getting him back home as quickly as possible. I'm sure there will be vids to watch. Welcome home HT2 J.W. Walsh; son of a son of a sailor.

PO2 Donald Walsh What a great family legacy your family has... I too was the son of a WWII Gunnersmate Sailor... He could never make it to any of my homecomings, BUT he was at my Retirement Ceremony after my 23 years as a sailor!
