Thanks SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. When I first read your title I was thinking about young students. No I recognize your post is focused on veterans who are returning to school.

Funny, my grandson transferred from community college to regular university this spring/summer. Because he has a dependent ID, during orientation he was teamed up with all veteran students. He was only one in his group that was actually normal college age. He did make some good friends during orientation however.
