This was an excellent read. Qualities that we should all strive for. It pays dividends when you work hard and lead from the front. My biggest thing I hit on is not having your Soldiers do something that you wouldn't do. This in turn shows you care, allows you to understand timing, properly empower subordinates, and overall set your unit up for success.

Exactly! I always use that as a selling point as well. I will never tell you to do something that I haven't already done or willing to do myself. Take care of your people/team and they will take care of you.
