The jury is still out on the question of how much social media can help your job search. However, there is no question that it can hurt it. Every rant and rave follows you like a high-tech version of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey

Great post. This is especially helpful to military personnel, who are discouraged from using social media and are often at a disadvantage because of it when they transition.
