"there was no reason to believe the suspected theft was terrorism-related"

WTF else is someone going to use 700 lbs of explosives for? Home remodeling?

I can think of "Tons" of stuff to do with it! All fun and still legal in most places!

But if you were going to use it for fun and legal purposes, wouldn't you go through legal means of acquiring it?

The question here is, “who was responsible for providing security to the site?” Has that individual been held accountable for the negligence? The stolen property is probably gone by now.

Most of those places don't have real crack security. A lot of them just have locked mags with no on sight guards. Just a roving patrol kind of thing. I've gone to some of them with ATF folks when they find retro grade dynamite and the security is almost an afterthought.

Wow I did not know that, I was under the impression that due to the nature of its capabilities and large amount of money that it cost it would be secured with guards.

They were really serious and offered $10,000 initially. I guess they are really, really serious now! I would love to have my own mag full of toys, I mean explosives! LOL
