Some good advise in this article. I would add when they identify building you team to insure you provide the best training for your people, and insure they hare the equipment then need to complete all assigned missions: from paper clips, to ph meters, to weapons if necessary.

SFC (Join to see) - Just prior to beginning a stint as a manufacturing manager, the quality manager (sic) advised me the reason product yield hadn’t improved was because employees weren’t being *written up/disciplined* and that is what I should do whenever an issue arose. After politely listening to (and ignoring) his BS, employees were treated logarithmically better and they returned the favor many times over. The ROI of common sense practices was record product yield and a fun work environment.
