I don't actually discuss my medical details with my family, other than my wife. Don't feel a need to.

This article doesn't really feel genuine. You don't have to beg you provider not to discuss your medical treaments with your family; Hipaa laws still apply and they can't do it unless you give express consent, usually written.
I also kind of feel like it is more likely you would get backlash if you don't get the vaccine. The pro-mandate folks are pretty vehement and honestly much more spiteful than the folks who don't want to get a vaccine. I realize this is a CNN article, so take it with a grain of salt to begin with (as you should from any of the news accumulator sources)
