It is sad what is happening Sgt (Join to see). I can understand their desire for a better life but not at our expense. Something needs to be done and its not happening. On a side note I got appointed to the Border Patrol in the late 70's. I wound up turning down my appointment as my late wife did not want to leave Brooklyn, NY and report with me to Chula Vista, CA. A lot of that decision was probably related to one interview they wanted spouses on. When the interviewing agent said they have found agents with their throats slit on the border, when the offer came, she said no. She had no problem with me getting appointed to NYPD! I can imagine its only gotten worse down there for the agents.

In addition to the lack of support for the Border Patrol Agents from our own Federal Government is in my opinion very poor. When You look at the violent Criminals they have to face and the nature of the job anyway which is hard enough in its own right, this is disgusting ! Imagine arresting these Criminals and other over and over again and keep having them released and nothing done to stem the influx. Its also not even safe for people trying to flee other countries with a Criminal element involved that thinks nothing of making victims of those people as well including Children.

There is no excuse for this to be happening. It is totally unacceptable.
