That's what I call "Situational Awareness" on steroids. The bleeding-edge of technology does not come cheap, but either does air dominance/superoirity. The technology will get better with time and the pilot will be able to pig-out if he/she wants. They'll also be able to have any hair style the choose (within regs). Excellence comes with a price tag... but it does go down over time. Thanks SSG Robert Mark Odom

The amount of information that is fed through the Helmut is nearly mind boggling. Targeting info, Avionics Instrumentation, Automatic Detection of Hostile threats, etc, etc, etc.

SSG Robert Mark Odom It has to be more than functional in order to fly... it's protecting all the investment inside the helmet... money well spent!
