Capt Daniel Goodman
Lol...I just love that one story, I'd seen stuff online that those outside of USCG couldn't get it, I always love showing that one as proof that's not the case, you know? Enjoy....

Capt Daniel Goodman - having lived in Florida and working a a mate on a charter boat I know what it's like to be in a situation like that, I was asked by a Capt. To go out with him, as my boat wasn't chartered I went. We we're about 5 miles out in the gulf stream when the Capt drove over a log, I felt the bump but when I went up to the fly bridge and asked he said we hit a branch well a little later I noticed that the boat felt sluggish an went below I am glad I did there was water in the forward bunk. I went up and told that POS that we were taking on water FAST he told me to check the pumps, they were not working, I guess he wasn't a complete ass cause he did have a a hand pump, I told him to put the boat in reverse and pray that the engines didn't flood he got on the radio and another charter boat came over and towed us in we had to be towed stern forward, when we got in and I could take a look there was a hole about a foot and a half round, I never fished with him again
