I think the one-thing-at-a-time, is a reasonable approach. Let the civilian justice system play all the way out before any military investigation and adjudicating.

DD is not warranted. That's reserved for Capital offenses. He should not be training Soldiers.

SrA John Monette - You are correct. Maybe felony was a better word choice. Being a self-centered loudmouth is wrong, but does not warrant a DD. That's what I should have said. Thanks for correcting it. The two overlap under UCMJ: Dishonorable discharges are handed down for what the military considers the most reprehensible conduct. This type of discharge may be rendered only by conviction at a general court-martial for serious offenses (e.g., desertion, sexual assault, murder, etc.) that call for dishonorable discharge as part of the sentence.
