Put another log on the dumpster fire.
If we’re done, be done. If we wanted to maintain a presence, we should have stayed. Stop playing footsy. Let the taliban do what they’ll do. Obviously their government and their army didn’t want to stop them. Our only involvement should be throwing a tomahawk at them every couple months to remind them we can.

Interesting you use that word: “Dumpsters”? It’s the equivalent of the term “Trumpers”, only meaning Democrats who have no moral courage, honor, and live in a dumpster. I digress.
Please remember history. We (our Country, our people) refused to see Islamic extremism was attacking us for years, until the final wake up call on 9/11. Do we want to go back to the pre 9/11 days when we refused a people were bombing our buildings? Our ships? Speaking for myself: No. We need to keep an eye on these peoepl, they wish us harm. We can’t help it that President Biden gouged out our eyes so we can’t see anymore. And that we have no leverage in an entire region because he has given it all away… in a hope that terrorists will be nice to us. You may be right, maybe I should have posted this under satire. President Biden’s strategy doesn’t get any richer that this. How sad for us.

I used dumpster fire specifically as a synonym for shit show. Nothing political about it. I’m an issue voter. Not a party voter. I agree ignoring an enemy who has sworn jihad against us since Jimmy Carter, is stupid but we have a tough time learning from history. I do think we should keep them in chaos there. The Taliban does have leverage and I am afraid they will use it! There maybe up to hundreds of Americans still stranded in Afghanistan and I believe the Taliban would use as hostages.

Time will tell. I vowed for how poorly our retreat was from Afghanistan: with what death and torture has already occurred, and will occur because of our bad actions, that I will not let the subject die. Every day I will find a story to post. With the Taliban I don’t believe I will run out of material.
