In this particular case I would agree.
The parents knew he had mental issues, were warned by School Officials and refused to take him home to address it, knew he was searching for info on ammunition and told him "learn not to get caught," bought him a weapon and did not properly secure it so he could not use it unsupervised.

Strike Three, you're out, do not pass Go, Go directly to Jail.

It used to be that parents WERE responsible for everything their kids did. When the country started moving away from that, I believe, is when we really started to go downhill!
Need to get back to Parents being more responsible for their hellions!

You are correct of course. It's a matter of responsibility; something the Progressive Socialist Democrats don't accept these days. They try to buy their way out of every difficulty they get into these days, and it just doesn't work that way.
