I was in Incirlik a couple times. Didn't get to go anywhere so didn't see anything. Got a handmade leather coat though.

So cool! I was never near the place, but it sounds like an interesting place to visit.

Marcus, I was at Incirlik twice. The second trip I got to see some of the countryside. The country is beautiful and I had great time with the Turkish people with most of them extremely helpful. Today, it appears the government is having a difficult time with which way they want to go--democratic or socialist. I know the economy is in the tank. Would I go back for vacation. Yes.

Wow! While the article gave a lot of stats on the bridge itself, it didn't say if it was a new bridge or a replacement, or somehow augmenting existing roads/bridges there. Do you have any knowledge about the site of the bridge itself?
