Who better to raise hell about a company than someone with skin in the game? Didn't Elon Musk just become major shareholder in Twitter with the intent to reform their conservative censoring? As that irritating phrase goes "You go girl!"

"Musk's role as both a board member and Twitter's largest shareholder certainly gives him an outsized voice in the company's future. He's been publicly praised this week by the CEO and other board members, a sign that Twitter leadership is likely to take his ideas seriously.

But he's still just one member of a 12-person board that Twitter says has “an important advisory and feedback role” but no responsibility over day-to-day operations and decisions. That means Musk won't have the authority to add an “edit button” or to restore Donald Trump's suspended account.

“Our policy decisions are not determined by the board or shareholders, and we have no plans to reverse any policy decisions,” said Twitter spokesperson Adrian Zamora."

CWO4 Terrence Clark A lot of ultra Conservatives are continually surprised to find out the true, dark, perverse agendas—decades old in the making— of various popular entities in this country.

Or, rather than sell stock, tell them that as a shareholder, you're not happy with their bad business decision. Like this person who is also invested in Disney:

https://www.bizpacreview.com/2022/04/03/disney-shareholder-tells-ceo-to-stop-mousing-around-wasting-money-on-political-crusades-1221110/

I would imagine that several of the 60% of Floridians who support a bill, which prevents students in kindergarten through 3rd grade form being taught about sexual subject and orientation in the classroom by their teachers, also have stock in Disney. That includes a majority of Democrats, who stated they support the bill.

It is not "a problem" to criticize the orgs you invest in when they make decisions you do not agree with. One cannot facilitate change if they simply pull out. Who knows, maybe someone like Elon Musk will buy a significant share into Disney and focus them back on parks and family friendly movies vs political topics which have little to do with the company.
