It put Fox News to the right of OAN? Hmmm... Would have to look at their data. Ahh, I see now that is OAN web... OAN TV falls further to the right and lower on fact reporting. Your post did provide a link to the source data, so thanks!

SPC Kevin Ford - I understand they are using a relative scale, but using the graphic in that manner makes it difficult to determine the plot point... dead center of the graphic? Top left corner? Bottom right? Hard to say, and could make a bit of difference.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Top center is where the most reliable and least biased are.

I agree. The scale is complex as it isn't a traditional scatter plot. The X axis contains what would be on a normal X Y scale values greater than and less than 0. On a traditional scatter plot X and Y axes both start at zero in the lower left corner.

SPC Kevin Ford - I get that. What I am talking about is the logo graphics that are used to depict the plot point. They have area and span over both the X and Y axis. So, for example, does the Rachel Maddow show mostly skew left (plot point in the center), or would it be considered "Hyper-partisan Left" if the plot point is at the top or bottom left of the logo graphic. I am thinking it is the center of the logo, but it is not specified anywhere.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Got you, that makes sense. The interactive version is pretty interesting. You can over over a particular media source and it will highlight all the data points associated with it.

I've always had a problem with BBC programming as when I used to listen to it, they were always broadcasting exposés and ragging on the US because we committed this or that atrocity to some other Nation, Ethnic Group, etc., and completely ignoring British Colonialism and the problems that created. More hypocrisy at its finest.
