President Biden gave a speech that suggests citizens of the United States do not have the mental capacity to understand that immigrants face discrimination, xenophobia, and violence. Hate and fear are being given too much oxygen by those who pretend to love America but do not understand America.
POTUS goes on to say that by way of multiple Executive Orders, he has directed agencies across the Federal Government to remove barriers that improperly impede access to immigration benefits and to assure fair and timely adjudication of those benefits.
POTUS said, "I call upon the people of the United States to learn more about the history of our Nation’s diverse and varied immigrant communities and to observe this month with appropriate programming and activities that remind us of the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion."
COMMENTS:
The proposed legislation would make about 7 million unauthorized immigrants eligible to apply for protection from deportation, work permits, and driver’s licenses.
Biden’s proposal would expand access to family-based green cards in a variety of ways, such as by increasing per-country caps and clearing application backlogs. Today, family-based immigration – referred to by some as “chain migration” – is the most common way people gain green cards, in recent years accounting for about two-thirds of the more than 1 million people who receive green cards annually.
In 2021 the U.S. admitted 11,411 refugees. Biden increased that number to 62,500 in late 2021 and increased the number again for the fiscal year 2022 to 125,000 refugees. [Source - Pew Research]
There is a host of legislation submitted to increase green cards to refugees for adults and children with the count for children not going toward the annual cap of 140,000 green cards being issued.
Clearly, POTUS has accomplished far more for refugees than he has for the citizens of the United States. The cost of all this does not take into consideration the expense of the gift bags for those crossing the border, transportation to where they choose, education, medical, and food stamps for the children.
What are the benefits the U.S. citizens are getting today?

I've been watching the House 1.6 Committee hearing trying not to have a stroke. This place is ablaze, but I'm just relieved that Biden isn't freaking me out with crazy-scary tweets every 15 minutes or talking about grabbing people or yada².

PFC Kimberly Staiti I can understand those sentiments and share in the pain, however, while there is lots of talk, and some that makes one cringe, the main difference was a plus. Trump did what he said he was going to do and the events/policies were positive for "we the people" and the United States. If we could only get Trump to "speak softly and carry a big stick", however I'll forgive his rhetoric because of his commitment to the USA and its citizens first.

President Biden is a freaking idiot and everything he touches he ruins and people die. He has basically pissed off so many immigrants and here are some that are going to vote against him in the next midterm election so he did everything that AOC asked him to do and now only thing AOC cares about is the midterms because they know they're going to get their ass kicked in November. He also doesn't want to realize that most Hispanic counties bordering the Mexican border voted for Trump because they don't want 16 million illegal aliens Crossing through their farms and neighborhoods. We're talking people from all countries of the world not just Latin America. President Biden is a dumb sheist and so are a lot of his open globalist people who pull the strings behind him. He doesn't want to admit that he wants to stack the deck and make most illegal aliens Democrats thereby making the USA a one-party country.

SPC Jeff Daley, PhD Excellent share. The POTUS is more concerned with how we look to the rest of the world than the citizens of the United States. This is all nothing more than a vote buying scheme so when election time comes, they can say the Republicans want to strip them of their money, housing, medical care etc. so you better vote democrat or else.
