Two responses: (1) Why do we allow the progressive Left and its offshoots to define the terms of the debate? Where is the "life" in "pro-life"? I am "pro-choice" meaning choice with responsibility. Freedom and responsibility can not be separated any more than the obverse sides of the same coin. (2) Where is the unity in the methodology of the Democratic Party. Their Rainbow Coalition is a poor cover for their tactics of divide and conquer (Identity Politics)

The argument that should have been made back in 72 was that once a person creates a life: they are responsible for it, for better or worse. At that point the life created has rights just as great as the mother’s.
To answer your question: I believe the “life” in pro-life is standing up for the rights of a life that doesn’t have a voice yet. The term "pro-choice" in my opinion is defined by the second word "choice" and what that choice brings.
In most cases abortion has been performed for a woman’s convenience and has have devastating effects on them later in life. This is identified as “Selective Recall Bias” by the NIH, and when the NIH as to admit something negative about a Progressive issue we know it must be much worse. MHO
