FOR THE VETERAN OF THE VETERAN SHARE OF THE DAY
2023 VA disability pay rates, which are effective beginning December 1, 2022, currently have a year over year increase of 8.7% based on the latest cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) announcement. Confirmed as of October 13, 2022, this rate increase is the highest rate increase we’ve seen in about 40 years. Use the charts provided on this page to determine your eligibility and expected monthly payout for your approved VA disability claim. All numbers below are estimates of what an 8.7% increase would look like to all VA monthly benefit payouts. Official and final figures will be announced and finalized on December 1, 2022. We will update this page on December 1 to keep everything as accurate as possible.

SGT (Join to see) - Really?! I haven't heard that! It's good news if it does. I don't have to worry about that since I have private insurance through my school district, and I have my wife covered as long as I am working

In my view, this Disability and Social Security COLA is great for the recipient and will certainly help pay the Bills, SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL!!! However, it also exacerbates the worsening national debt this administration continues to follow...and the economic outlook looks bleak at best as they continue to tax and spend like there is no tomorrow! Just saying...
