With the attack on the Venezuelan president, I fully expect that drones will become the next level of combatant that dominates battles...and many other nasty chores.

Already is, we've been using them for years, this attack just demonstrates that anyone can make a drone into a weapon.

What I was trying to suggest was that this attack on the Venezuelan president was a new use for drones, and I think it may have opened a veritable flloodgate of ideas from the sinister and the sane, alike.

Ya, I agree with that. Think ISIS may have tried some limited use as well. Drones are so easy to purchase and don't care what they carry as long as it doesn't weigh too much, so potential is certainly there.
