I never heard the term POG till I joined this site. In the Nam, there was another term, REMF. Rear Echelon Mother FR. They used to take all the good cigarettes and send us the leftovers on resupply day.

I never had any grunts turn away morphine from this POG after being wounded. I wonder why they were not man enough to walk the talk then?
