Well, this is like saying a Mafia Boss said they don't like, say J Edgar Hoover, because he was too tough on them. Come on - really!?!?!? Why is this guy even getting a mention at all. WTFO!!!

Don't get me wrong I am not a big Hoover fan, but he did a job that was tough during a time that was tough.

I would argue that sleep depervation and water boarding are not torture but then I never read the CIA enhanced interrogation manual. In any case she got good information out of this guy that saved a lot of lives.

LCDR (Join to see) - Roger that! Besides, why are we not considering Mafia or MS-13 tactics in the torture realm? I think MS-13 and others should be charged with the UN's "Crimes Against Humanity" for human and narco-trafficking. If the world, as they did at Nuremberg came together to punich the NAZIs for their "hate crimes" it seems reasonable to engage folks like guy as a "war criminal".

As far as i am concern we gave $150 billion to Iran. If you divide that by the 20 million vets that comes out roughly to $7,500 per vet. What could a vet do with such a windfall? I can tell you "a Bunch". Iran, unlike post WWII Germany or Japan, is a never-ending threat. How stupid was it to provide some sort of "feel good" and not have our eyes wide open. Really?!?!?!

Sir, of course we are two "Navy dudes" and share, perhaps many of the same attitudes. what is shocking to me is how anyone could have thought that that giving "haters" billions in the "hopes they would do the right thing" made an sense, without the ability to VERIFY their actions. Frankly, they would have provide PROOF and would only be given enough funding to pay for concrete to poor into enrichment activities.

Reagan "Trust BUT - VERIFY!!!" You and I know about the PMS process in the navy and our spot check processes. There is a GOOD, VERY GOOD reason OUR NAVY does this! So, there is no REASON our government should not expect the same for those that engage with us.

Just an old Chief sharing..........

CPO Nate S. - Agreed the Iran deal was crap and all the money we freed up for them went directly to funding wars in Syria, Yemen and the continued terrorism in the West Bank. But don't expect the left to to admit any of those facts.

I suppose all of Hitler's henchmen that faced the Nuremberg trials, did not approve of the judges either, but we will never know because they did not live long enough to be asked if they approved!

Roger that! Every officer COL and above complicit with the atrocities should have been lined up and shot! Harsh I know. But the Nazi's executed my grandfather so I am a little less than forgiving. Now a grandfather myself, I did not that pleasure myself as a kid.

Don't give a damn about people who don't give a damn about people!!!

CPO Nate S. - Chief, What a horrible memory you must carry. I am deeply sorry for your Grandfathers murder by the Nazi's and you have every right to be unforgiving. I know I would feel the same way. Hopefully the Nazi that committed that crime was executed himself or hung at Nuremberg! Thanks for sharing your family story with me. May your grandfather rest in peace.

CWO3 Dennis M. - Sir, for many years I have suffered in silence and not until now I have, with the grace of my fellow veteran, been able to really begin to unpack how I feel. I don't share often. The exposure for those who don't get it can backfire, so I am very protective. However, I wanted to say thank for your graciousness. It is much appreciated!
