If you're not watching Westworld, you should be. Ditto Deadwood and Battlestar Galactica.

PO3 Steven Sherrill
SN Greg Wright I almost wish I had waited until the whole season was available before watching Westworld. Each episode has a new twist, or a new "What the fuck did I just watch" moment that leaves me wanting more when the episode ends. I would binge watch that show like nobody's business.

PO3 Steven Sherrill - Right? Every time I think they can't do anything better...
I dunno. I wish the networks would pick up some of HBO's mojo. Tv'd be a lot better.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I have been toying with the idea of reading the book just to get a feel for the source material. I will probably do that after this first season ends, just because I don't want it to ruin the suspense of the show.

I loved Almost Human. The interaction between Carl Urban and Michael Ealy made the show. I agree with the critique, instead of a crime a week the show would have been better served as a season per crime show. Too bad.
Leftovers is one of those shows that you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch. It is not a casual watching show. You really have to pay attention and be in the show when watching. It is a good show, but don't watch it when you are tired because you will miss important details.
Person of interest is another interesting show. It is what 1984 would be if instead of repressing the people, big brother was used to help people. Jim Caviezel is great, but it is the interaction of the characters in what they are trying to accomplish that makes the show compelling
Battlestar Galactica was great in the beginning. It went down hill when they started revealing everyone as a Cylon. I did enjoy the final episode. I still prefer the campy 70s version to the new version, but that is a personal choice. I hated the personal relationship between Adama and son. I hated that Colonel Tigh was an alcoholic. Beyond that I liked that they introduced strong female characters. I liked the mix of old and new technology. I liked that they captured at the onset a feeling of desperation mixed with moments of hope.
Both of my parents grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota. We visited my grand parents every summer. Deadwood was a place we visited often which had become equal parts tourist trap and working gold mine. I have been watching Deadwood off and on. It is a good show, and I enjoy it, but I cannot binge watch it like some other shows. Not saying that is a bad thing, just that it is more like a cigar than a cigarette, savor it, don't power through.
