As a nurse anesthetist I have placed an untold number of intubations. I would love to see a video of this device. My best friend in the latter part of my practice was the GlideScope. In some cases it was a life saver.

Love me some GlideScope! I just wish there was a version small enough to be practical on our trucks. There are a couple good "handheld" video scopes out there but most of them are cost prohibitive for many EMS agencies. The "affordable" ones are mediocre in performance at best.

MSgt Steven Holt, NRP, CCEMT-P I was called in one night by the hospitalist to intubate a fairly large dude in the ICU. I rolled in with my glidescope and some Propofol, and Sux. I put the guy under, used the glidescope, the airway looked a bit weird but I was able to slide the tube in.
The next morning the hospitalist came to the OR and apologized to me. He said he didn’t realize the guy had epiglottis and should have been intubated in the OR with a surgeon standing by to do a trach if we couldn’t intubate.
God watches over us and sometimes keeps us out of trouble. Cheers

My sister is an anesthesiologist. I am sure she would love some help with doing intubations.
