A battle over the future of truth in news: Goodwin

This Op-Ed isn't just about News and Legacy Media. It covers a wide range of topics that are going to have some members going into apoplectic fits. All I can say is read it all before doing so.
I'll go out on a limb and say there has always been Political leanings in print news, all the way back to the Broadsheets of the 17th Century. Here is quote from Wikipedia; "The broadsheet, broadside, was used as a format for musical and popular prints in the 17th century. Eventually, people began using the broadsheet as a source for political activism by reprinting speeches."
