This is a further slide down the slippery slope we all fear. You're too much trouble to take care of. Here, take these drugs and all your problems will go away.

If this is true , then the so called doctor or psycologist who suggested euthanasis should be fired and lose his license or his creditation, never be ballowed to ever practice medicine again. Or better yet, make him take the death pill.

In the US, the VA just waits for you to die in the waiting room. Or denies your claim until you die from whatever it is you have an issue with.

I hear a lot of complaints about the VA. I'm sorry to hear of your problems with the VA. I live near Omaha Nebraska and have used the VA med. center for years. I feel lucky because we have a pretty good hospital here. It isn't with out its faults, the phone system and parking come to mind, but overall, it's a good hospital. We have 2 good teaching hospitals here, The University of Nebreaka Med Center and Creighton Med Center. Many of the doctors from these hospitals practice at the VA. As with any govt. facility you have to be very proactive. If the VA is too busy they will send you to one of these hospitals. I know that some VA hospitals suck, but the one in Omaha is OK. This is just me putting my 2 cents worth.

SPC Lyle Montgomery - It's been the same for me everywhere I've lived in the western USA.
