Foal Eagle is an old and annual exercise, futrther back than 1998 (my last Foal Eagle). The other big exercise was Ulchi Focus Lens. Team Spirit went until 1992-ish. They stopped doing Team Spirit, which usually had elements of 25th ID and others in find of a REFORGER type thing. Exercised combined operations with ROK forces. It was a concession with the NorKs.

Sir your correct, I think this is same as Team Spirit. Team Spirit was my very first large FTX, and was off of my first deployment. I did my first patrol with Marine Combat Engineer unit, one of the same units we would be working with in Desert Shield and Storm. This was March-'April 1990, then then eight months later we would be in the Desert.
