I'm not sure why it took so long (6 years) for this story to percolate up to my attention. I'm not entirely sure how factual it is. However, if I assume that it is true as reported in this article, it serves to help me make a point, one that spans just about every aspect of life from gun violence in schools to your daily commute. We all depend upon the good will and good intentions of those whom we occupy this planet with each and every day. Please, don't stop to wonder if every car approaching in the opposite direction is going to stay on their side of the road. Be prepared to take evasive action (that's called defensive driving) but don't drive yourself mad thinking about the fact that they might just swerve to hit you because they are psychopathic. Hey, they may have just blown a tire. The fact is that its a dangerous world. Life is risky business. There are no guarantees. Shit happens. And those who surrender their freedoms for some false promise of security, are losers.
