A fearless comic with a talent for provoking both laughter and outrage, Sammy, born Samir Khullar, is a 42-year-old son of Indian immigrants. He is also a child of Bill 101, the polarizing Quebec law behind the sign infraction, which requires immigrants to send their children to French schools. As a result, he glides effortlessly between English and French in his shows, and has made Quebec’s tortured identity politics his main preoccupation.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I have lots for French Canadian friends and they have a good sence of humor about their culture.

I would love to see this guy. I have many Canadian friends including a close buddy who is French. He doesn’t live in the Quebec part of Canada, he lives in the normal part. Some of those Quebec folks are odd ducks. However, I do sympathize with their effort to retain thier culture and language. Those types of laws would never fly in the U.S. though. Can you imagine?
