I might be mistaken, but it’s a 50/50 thing now. The GOP asked for a recount and it came out even. Swore I read that today. Should still make things interesting going forward

one vote up for the Democrat, but they will be recounting again. The Folks on both sides in VA seem to be acting like Results but the fringes, especial the RWNJs ate already throwing out the usual lies.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - Read this morning that it is now a tie and the election will probably be decided by a coin toss.

Virginia court tosses one-vote victory that briefly ended GOP majority in House
A court determined one ballot should have been counted for Del. David Yancey, erasing Shelly Simonds’ win. Now, it seems it will be resolved by a coin toss.

Razor-thin margin.
Must be a recount, but democrats know how to find the votes they need.

Every vote does count but when the ballot fails the quality control test then you just wasted your vote. It's not the job of recount officials to speculate and guess the intent of a voter; it's their job to validate the ballot for count. The negligent error on that ballot invalidated that ballot and this election should not come down to a coin toss/draw out of the hat decision. Perhaps the three judge panel should go back and review every other ballot that was invalidated. What if the ballot didn't have any bubble filled for either candidate? Should officials assume the voter meant to pick the GOP candidate based on how the ballot was filled for the other tickets?
