I see it almost daily though. And see MPs with facial hair quite often. The grooming standards are a joke any more.

That would have never have flown in my day. Any solder as an MP with a shaving profile was regulated to assist the supply Sgt. He could not do road duty until his shaving profile cleared. An un shaven MP is just wrong, unless you have standing convoy traffic point for three or four days like we did in what was know as West Germany back then

In the "Army" of today [PC] just about anything goes. Suggest entire unit visit CS chamber. When his mask fails to seal ... the beard will come off fast enough. Just for fun conduct exercise at night and turn off the lights [been there-done-that].
