A US Army officer's mom just got deported. He says he feels betrayed

This 'Mom' was in the US for 30 years and already had three deportations and this is her forth. The 2LT could have sponsored his Mother for nine years now. My wife is an immigrant, the paperwork on USCIS even comes with instructions, what is it going to take to get people to step up and advocate for themselves?

How could he feel betrayed. His mother has been deported more than once and has been here for 3 decades and did nothing to help herself. No one to blame, except one's self. Bottom line "mom" was here illegally and the system worked in the favor of the citizens..
