So many Americans follow a toxic ex president whose MO is spreading hate. That is his leadership style and that is the culture he created in the country.
As an example anti-mask protesters physically and verbally attacked a lady who was wearing a mask as she walked out of the cancer center.
Their actions show they have hate and little decorum. How can Americans act like this to others? They are brainwashed.

PFC J V. - The good Major and I disagree about... well... everything. But he is very few of the things you describe.
Nor were the majority of Officers I served with. Yes, there is incompetence at every rank in the Army - from Private to General. But the overwhelming majority of Officers I served with were not only competent, they were *highly* competent. On the flip side, folks like PFCs who think that size of paycheck = level of competence or, worse, size of paycheck = personal value, were a dime a dozen - and generally worth only about a dime, as well.
MAJ Ken Landgren is very passionate about Trump and his foibles. But that does not make him a bad person. Yes, he came at you with snark, so I am not downvoting your exceptionally rude snark response as I normally would. Turn about and all that.
But just as I am honor bound to defend a President I disagreed with all the time (Trump), I am also honor bound to defend a Major I disagree with all the time (and who, consequently, it appears is a better *human* than Trump, as well Your attacks upon him and his character are largely without merit. Additionally, they are highly disrespectful, and unbecoming. Even if everything you wrote were true, the simple act of writing it lowers you. Don't stoop. It says more about you than those you attack.

SFC Casey O'Mally - We can agree to disagree. You're retired and we're both veterans. Your duty is to defend the Constitution, not the Presidents who disrespect it, nor the officers who do likewise. I'm glad that you had a good experience when you served, but I'm willing to bet, Sergeant, that the Army in your day was a lot better off than the Army in mine, or the Army that exists now. I'm also willing to bet that the Major here wasn't in the Army when you or I served, and isn't the same cut of officer that you remember so fondly.
I will have to disagree, the major is a scumbag, not because he hates on Trump, though that is questionable. He's a scumbag because he ridiculed and criticized me for bringing up rank, and then proceeded to do the exact same thing immediately after. We call that hypocrisy, and as a major, as any officer, he is meant to serve as a higher example of professionalism and as a leader of soldiers. He is none of those things.
"On the flip side, folks like PFCs who think that size of paycheck = level of competence or, worse, size of paycheck = personal value, were a dime a dozen"
Interesting that you should bring up my rank in that, but I never thought that when I served, so by all means, point that finger somewhere else. I always assumed that rank = competence, and that the higher the rank, the higher the competence and professionalism. But we both know that's also flat-out wrong and naively mistaken.
My attacks on the major are well-founded and if he wasn't an asinine clown to begin with and conducted himself with professionalism, well, I wouldn't have any stones to throw, now would I? Feel free to read every post in this thread, because I did, and I know many others would not only disagree with you, but would call you a "cuck" for defending the loser who was bullying you a few months ago.
Once again, we can agree to disagree. President Trump is a better man and a better leader than the major clown in question. Highly disrespectful? I give respect where it is due. Respect is earned, and easily lost, and he has lost his. His rank means nothing to me, his words and character are all that matters, and those are already covered in filth.
"Even if everything you wrote were true, the simple act of writing it lowers you. Don't stoop. It says more about you than those you attack."
Everything I wrote IS true, and I will say it, because men like you don't. Yes, I know all too well, Sergeants like you always thought the same things I've said here but never voiced their opinions aloud to the officers; only in private amongst themselves. Well, that is not my way, not my calling, not my life path. I see bullshit, I call it out. I see hypocritical scumbags, I call them out. Just because they have an officer rank doesn't mean they're immune. Also doesn't mean you should hold their hand.
Writing the truth doesn't lower me, nor is it stooping; that is your opinion, but it is not fact.
With that said, I'll sooner respect you and treat your words with more attention, even if they're wrong, than I will a hypocritical asshat, and while I treat you with decency, I'll show none to scumbags like the aforementioned officer, and that is my God-given right, let alone the right I earned while in service. Good day.

MAJ Ken Landgren - Now it all makes sense. Your tag, Ken, says you're currently serving, but that's a lie. The truth is, you were removed from the Army. You couldn't hack it anymore, and your PTSD caused you to be involuntarily discharged. Yeah, I found out who you really are, outside of this silly little website, even though I see you quickly tried to hide your full name, Mr. Ken Landgren. You like to throw shade and bully other people, and unfortunately, other Sergeants come to your defense even when you're wrong; I guess it's true what all my friends tell me about this website; they all deleted their accounts to avoid people like you. I even deleted mine after today, because I'd rather not spend time on a site where clowns like you lord it up over the enlisted "peasants". Then I found out how much of a sad little man you actually are behind that computer screen, and I came back to serve you up one last slice of humble pie.
You also couldn't ever get promoted past Major. You were a major for 9 years before being kicked out in 2014. Alcohol abuse, PTSD, "depression", the works; you talk about "skill and tenacity", but clearly you just couldn't make it past XO, even with the Army covering for your mistakes and holding your hand for nine years. Considering how hypocritical you were today, I wouldn't be surprised if you were garbage all throughout your time in uniform. "Currently serving", indeed! I'm glad the Army was smart enough to get rid of you when they did, but clearly they waited too long already.
Ironic. I don't have to do or say anything bad about you, even though you're toxic as hell. Now I see the wisdom that SFC O'Mally was referencing. You're already living in disgrace and shame, and apparently in denial too now, as you act like you're still in service, if only to hide your embarrassment. You're exactly the kind of person I described before;
"The smart ones get out while they can, while the biggest losers stay in all their lives, and by the time they get out, they can't survive on the outside. The military becomes their god, so to speak, and outside in the civilian world where they're just another joe shmoe and their rank is completely meaningless to everyone around them, well, they often either end up killing themselves or secluding themselves to a quirky, isolated existence, surrounded by other veterans and military personnel, the only people who might remotely give a shit about their time in service. AKA, you."
I see you ended up taking the second route, after almost taking the first. And you wrote an article about your experiences, how quaint.
Alright then, I'll leave you to your delusions. But you're wrong about Trump, Ken, and a whole lot of other things. Don't let your PTSD blind you from reality.

SFC Kelly Fuerhoff - Just a reply to the Maj. He is so infatuated with our last president he is unable to leave the past. Sorry, the blind need to be lead sometimes whether they like it or not.

Maj Gail Lofdahl
I just saw this happen in my local Carl's Jr. last week. A man using the drive-through was unable to order a hamburger at 0830. He honked incessantly when he pulled up to the window. When they still failed to sell him his precious burger, he parked and stormed into the restaurant, cursing. The manager explained that they were still serving breakfast, but would clear a space on the grill and make him his hamburger. The customer refused, saying, "How would I know you wouldn't spit on it?" I felt like telling the man, "Get a life, buddy! It isn't all about you," but knew that would only throw gasoline on the fire (and possibly get me punched, though I can now play the "old lady" card). So I apologized to the counter staff when the customer left. (He was "Mister Entitled White Guy," and they were all of Latin/Hispanic origin.) If someone can't or won't give you what you want, recognize that you won't get it and GO ELSEWHERE.

Maj Gail Lofdahl - It doesn't work that way nowadays. It's much easier to claim the victim status and sue because of some perceived discrimination, knowing that a settlement will come.
