I read the entire article and saw no reason for them to mention the skin color of either the wannabe or the homeowner -- beyond the inherent racism of the author, or their attempt to foster racial division in this country. That being said, it has been my experience in outing wannabes that their stolen valor BS is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. The are total scum in so many other aspects of their lives. Usually fraudsters, wife beaters, child molesters, other felons or generally all around POSs.

Interesting. So why did he stop and start the rant when the man pulled the flyer out of his mail box? (Disclaimer: I took the time to watch the video.)

I think that the author was attempting to express the on-going existence of racism. Nothing more; nothing less.

SSG Robert Mark Odom - I understand that, and I'm sure racism was at the heart of the problem covered by the article. But as one who cannot easily comprehend race because of my brain injuries, those things always jump right out at me -- and rub me wrong. I don't recommend that seven billion people go get shot in the head so they can see the world through my eyes, but I feel we would live in a much better world if others could only see what makes us all look alike, as opposed to what is different about our appearances. Racism has to be about the biggest waste of brain power in the entire human existence.
