Although I've Mentioned This A Couple Of Times In The Past,
I'm Still Chuckling About It To This Day. Although Some May Just Find This A Little Funny,
I Think It's Hilarious Because It Involves Myself. ~ After I Enlisted On My 17th Birthday,
Was Sent To Little Rock AFB In Arkansas And Given An Assignment In The Security Of A Nuclear Bomb Storage Area. One Evening I Got To Thinking About The Guys I'd Attended School With Stateside. And Thought to Myself, "Here I Am, 17 Years Old, Armed To The Hilt With Loaded Weapons And Wandering Around A Bunch Of Nuclear Bombs; While The Guys I Was In School With Are Probably Headed Down Some Hallway To Their Lockers, To Dig Out Their Jock Straps For Gym Class. ~ "I WIN" ~

Stateside, I Disliked School To The Point I Was Tossed Out Of
"Ole Lady Waddell's Class Room 4 - 5 Times Every Week And
Sent To The Principals Office, Bob Lott. Mr. Lott Would Just Shrug His Shoulders & Say
" Let's Go Wander The Hall An See What's Going On": And That's What We Did.... He And I Became Good Friends And Corresponded Even When I Moved To Panama~ Years Later When I Was Married With 2 Kids Of My Own, And Lived In Colonial Village, I Lansing, MI.
1 Of My Daughter Was Selling Avon And Talking To A Lady When Her Husband Came Into The Living Room... Because He Herd Linda Introduce Herself To His Wife. It Was Bob Lott ~ He Lived Down The Street From Us, About A Block And 1/2 From The Family Where Erwin,"Magic" Johnson Lived.. Then It Started All Over, As He And I Would Laugh & Talk About Ole Lady Waddell And What A Bitch She Was,As Well As How He And I Became Friends Because Of Her. Almost Forgot : The Schools In Panama Were So FAR Ahead Of Ours And I Had NO Chance Of Ever Graduation From There. But Even Failing The 9th Grade TWICE, I Learned More There, FAILING, Than I Ever Learned Stateside PASSING, Year After Year. And It Was FUN Too, They Educated Their Students.~ What A Conception!!
