Received an e-mail press release from S.W.A.N. announcing partership with Saprea to Combat Child Sexual Abuse. Good for SWAN. There is certainly a large scale need. The link is to the "about" section of Saprea's website.
Looking at the Saprea website, the organization states it is designed to help adult female survivors jumpstart their healing *from home*. However, it is well known that adult men are also survivors of sexual abuse as boys. Wondering if there is an organization for men also, or if Saprea may intend to expand to serve men. Evenso it looks like there are resources available for all at their website.

SWAN Partners with Saprea
Service Women's Action Network and Saprea Partner to Combat Child Sexual Abuse
Washington D.C.: Service Women's Action Network (SWAN), a leading advocacy organization for women in the military, is pleased to announce a partnership with Saprea <
https://saprea.org/>, a renowned nonprofit focused on providing healing services to survivors of child sexual abuse. This collaboration aims to support service women, women veterans, and their families who have been impacted by this heinous crime and provide them with crucial education and resources to protect children from sexual abuse.
"We are excited to announce our partnership with SWAN, which will help us spread awareness of the global issue of child sexual abuse and reach more individuals with our healing and prevention resources,” said Saprea Managing Director, Chris Yadon. “We share the goal of empowering more survivors, including service women and women veterans, who are burdened with the lasting impacts of the abuse.”
Child sexual abuse remains a significant and pervasive issue that affects countless lives, often leaving lasting emotional and psychological scars. Recognizing the urgent need for action and support within military communities, SWAN and Saprea have joined forces to address this critical challenge. Through this partnership, SWAN will make Saprea’s free, online healing and prevention resources available through the SWAN resource portal. These services will encompass evidence-based therapeutic intervention methods, counseling, and support networks aimed at empowering survivors and promoting their overall well-being.
Furthermore, SWAN and Saprea are committed to equipping caretakers within military families with the knowledge and tools needed to protect their children. By providing comprehensive information, educational resources, and preventive strategies, the partnership endeavors to create a safer environment for military children and mitigate the risk of child sexual abuse.
"SWAN is honored to partner with Saprea and bring awareness and support to military families who may be impacted by child sexual abuse. SWAN's work is dedicated to support, connect, and advocate for women past, present, and future; providing children and our future women veterans this information is essential,” said the CEO of SWAN, Jennifer Ross. “We're strong together and we hope the Saprea and SWAN partnership will provide the tools needed to help children and their families thrive."
Each year in the United States, over one million children will be sexually abused. That is 1 in 5 children before they turn 18. SWAN and Saprea strive to bring that number down to zero.
