We already send a lot of aid to central America. Perhaps we should see what we are getting for that money first. It seems to me that these nations should be responsible to solve their own internal/domestic issues.
Our non stop "problem solving" tends to create more problems that it solves. These countries are not doing anything serious to stem the flow of illegal aliens moving north toward our borders. If we stopped the flow at our border, Mexico would stop the flow at theirs and people would have to solve their issues inside of their country. We can provide (and do) aid and support but they need to solve their problems.
