Yes sir, it sure does. This happens quite a bit when a Vet from WWII or Korea dies. The family decides that the "door stop" that they've had for 50 years is a problem and they drop it off at the police or sheriff's department. Or it's a call out and they respond, and/or request military EOD, as we are the only responders that have the authority for military ordnance. Sometimes the cops are heroes and take care of it themselves.
It's a grab bag whether they are live or not. We've picked up everything from grenades to civil war cannon balls. All to commonly live.
